Male Mandarin with 3 Mallards, 3 female Goldeneye.  In the area 196 Lapwing, 5 Golden Plover, Red Kite, 12 Reed Bunting, all in one small tree, 2 Stock  Dove.

In wood below reservoir, hooting Tawny Owl, Treecreeper.

130 Canada Geese, 1 Wigeon, 1 Little Grebe, 4 Teal, 6 Tufted Duck, 3 Snipe, 1 Sparrowhawk, flock of 30 Fieldfare.

Hazlewood - Cavendish Pavilion - Bolton Bridge

37 species, including heron (4 within one mile), cormorant, goosander, dipper, grey wagtail, pied wagtail, dipper, brambling, long-tailed tit, fieldfare, redwing, jay, red grouse, green woodpecker (on open moorland) snipe, raven, red kite and buzzard.

Kildwick
11 Waxwings on the back road between Kildwick and Skipton.  They flew off NW.
A flock of White Fronted Geese (about 120) over the Great Wood Estate and Moorview Way area of Skipton.  Assumed to be the flock seen previously at Barden.

Along the Aire at Baildon, a single Goosander and a Kingfisher was seen at the Denso-Marston Reserve.

Keighley Moor Reservoir
Two Bewick Swans on the reservoir.  They remained until 9.05am but were disturbed by a dog walker.  The birds flew off to the west.  These are the first since 2011.

A female Black Grouse, which has been in the area for a little while, can usually be seen in the first fields just to the right (north) of the track as you pass through the gate from the car park.  This is a first for the area.

A single Waxwing appeared in the silver birch tree just beyond our garden in Ben Rhydding at 10.40  today for just 30 seconds. It flew off in a SW direction.

A flock of at least eight Waxwings and a few Redwings were feeding in trees by the cricket and football field.  On the tarn there were four Goosanders, 14 Tufted Ducks and four Great Crested Grebes.
