Stockbridge Reserve (members only) - Reed Warbler singing, pair of Whitethroat feeding 3 recently fledged young. Other singing birds - Willow Warbler, Chiff-Chaff, Blackcap, Wren. Plenty of House Martin, Swallow & Sand Martin hawking over the water.

Heather Park, St Ives - BTO Breeding Woodcock Monitoring (third visit) - from 21.50 to 22.42 recorder 16 flypasts with a pair flying together on one occasion. How many birds were involved in any one's guess!

Stockbridge Reserve (members only) -  pleased to hear Reed Warbler again after a few weeks of absence. Also singing - Willow Warbler, Blackcap, Whitethroat. Young male Reed Bunting at the feeder plus a pair of Bullfinch. Jay, Sparrowhawk & family of Dunnock recorded.

Breeding Grasshopper Warbler confirmed.  An adult bird was watched carrying food to a patch of heather adjacent to the spot where it was first seen singing on 4th and 5th May.
