BOG Walk from Bingley to Saltaire
35 Species seen: Jackdaw, Carrion Crow, Grey Wagtail, Canada Goose, Greylag Goose, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Long-tailed Tit, Mistle Thrush, Song Thrush, Mallard, Grey Heron, Dipper, Wren, Chiffchaff, Blackcap, Greenfinch, Chaffinch, Collard Dove, Blackbird, Starling, Woodpigeon, House Martin, Sand Martin, Swallow, Sparrowhawk, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Mute Swan, Magpie, House Sparrow, Treecreeper, Nuthatch, Oystercatcher, Dunnock, Jay.  The highlight was probably watching a Dipper at the nest site.

Eight Wheatears, six at the end of Birch Close Lane and two feeding on the Golf Course.  Snipe very active and Lapwings protecting a number of chicks.  Skylarks, Meadow Pipits and Reed Buntings are around in good numbers.

Two female Wheatears this morning and plenty of activity amongst the breeding Snipe with three birds belting round whilst a fourth was sitting on a post.

Glovershaw - On a warm, dry morning a pair of Redshank, 25 pairs of Lapwing, three pairs of Curlew and an estimated six pairs of Snipe were very active in the fields by Golcar Farm.  Elsewhere a Willow Warbler sang at Pennythorn Plantation and three pairs of Oystercatcher were in fields near Weecher.
